Shot Notes

Some oyster bar in Charleston shot with my 50mm fixed manual focus lens which I was in fact not focusing because the camera was sitting on the bar. I still like this shot though because it takes you there and maybe it is better out of focus ;) you decide.

Well I hope you get new said camera before you run totally out. Happy thoughts right!! There is a santa claus!! He is real and he brings cameras to deserving boys and girls.

i don’t know how deserving i am lol… i’ve got a couple domains i’m going to try and sell, tho i’m not sure they are worth anything lol better than trying to depend on santa!

Out of focus. Sounds a lot like me. ha. So it does look good, and the pink (balls? balloons?) in the corner at the window stands out nicely!

Well Polly I can tell you there is nothing wrong with being out of focus :) just makes everything more , “interesting”. Those were like painted balloons on the window and I am not sure why they were there to be honest with you. Someone must have just felt creative that day and busted out the paint.

Hi John, this photo is awesome…
I totally inspired with your title “No Focus All Fun”. Actually I’m little bit tired with the perfect pictures with perfect focus and colours which I try to get for long time without any success, hahaha. I think, It’s fun to enjoy blurred, out of focus pictures…hahahaha…

This is freaking AWESOME! Love it, John. You know, not every photo has to be in focus. Some of my favorite photos have nothing in focus at all. Not I’ve gotta see your bokeh shot. I ♥ bokeh.
