If you ever make your way to Krakow, make sure you look up the legend of the Smok Wawelski. It is a legend that runs deep in the culture of Krakow as an ancient tale that has been kept alive for generations. You can read more about it HERE ~ John Masters

I have to say… I love coffee! I like mine straight up, or with cream. I don’t like adding flavorings, or anything else that might detract from that awesome coffee flavor. I know some people like their cinnamon or vanilla, and skinny something or whatever that is. I am sure they love their coffee too – or at least they like the idea of coffee but hey I am all about choice for everyone.
Every day or two I make a trip which is no where near on my drive home to Dave and Christy Chapman’s Bean Traders to get the best coffee in town. The staff are coffee professionals, they know what they are doing and they take pride in their craft. I know for a fact these guys have the best coffee in this town, because I have compared them to a few other establishments over the years. My muse and I travel nationally and abroad a lot and we inadvertently end up comparing coffees around the world to our BT. I have to say that very few come close to BT bean perfection. If there was any place I could generally speak to good quality Bean Trader(esq) coffee, it would have to be most cafe’s in France, and Spain, everywhere else is rubbish. Ok Ha, well that is somewhat of a generalization, but you get the picture. There have been some good coffee out there to be had, but not as many as you would think. Also, if you think about it, flying to Paris for a decent cup of coffee is an awesome idea, but not practical. We are pretty lucky to have these guys right here in our neighborhood. Ok, back to the coffee… What I love the most in my coffee is two shots of espresso. There are many different names for it, but none of them matter. Bean Traders calls it the red eye and that is all I need to know. Give me a double please, so I can resume my quest of creating awesome and world domination …
